Lucy,
Lucy turned one on Nov. 10th she also turned into a wonderful dog. I have never been happier. she knows when to be gentle. she is playful around all 2 legged and 4 legged beast. She believes all on this earth that walks, crawls, or swims is here for her to play with. And you know, I think she is right.
Im back! After fading away from my blog, mostly because of being pulled in other directions. I Just want to announce that I am still trying to make art and will be posting a number of things in the near future.
Stainless steel picture frame
This one a a few stainless steel picture frames I was asked to make. I was not planning on making picture frames. I had made one for myself and was having a picture mounted in it when one of the frames customers saw mine and and asked if I would make one. I enjoyed it but it is harder than it looks, The final touch is most important like any other craft and a mistake can lead to hours of redo.

This is a rooster made from 18gage steel. Hammered into shape with some welding. legs are made from rebar. I have a lot of fun making things these critters.
Lucy
Starting the new year with a new member of the family. Lucy is half husky and half golden retriever.
Turkey
When I built this bird feeder I didn’t have these birds in mind. This one was smart enough to flip the top of the feeder off.

This woodpecker sat here a while before eating. I do think it was being cautious until it realized the spider meant it no harm.
Hammer people
Its been a long time since the last post. I am back creating and working with metal. I will post more pieces later, just thought I would post some pictures of the fun I am having with some scrap and metal I found along the tracks.
